A new year, a new start. It is odd that so much emphasis is placed on the New Year. Because the reality is that January 1st is the same as most other winter days – it is hardly auspicious and is simply an accident of timing that it is chosen as the New Year.
The trouble with jargon is that those people who use it do not know they’re using it. Phrases become so imbedded into their psyche that they do not seem to be jargon.
